Roz Espin has over 20 years of experience in the corporate, non-profit and education sectors providing program development, training, mentoring, thought leadership and advisory roles in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion. Roz has over 8 years of experience designing and facilitating impactful diversity and equity training for educational leaders and professionals across Ontario.
She is an IPEC Certified Coach (CPC) and a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
Ingrid is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory™ and the Intercultural Conflict Style™ assessments. Ingrid has worked as a higher education professional at universities in Canada, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait. She earned her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development at the University of Minnesota. Her research and her passion focus on enhancing intercultural communication and understanding, providing tangible steps to deeper diversity and inclusion, and building more authentic relationships across difference.
Gérard is a passionate advocate for Human Rights and Employment Equity. Gerard has held positions in human resources as a vice president in a major financial institution and director general in the public service He is a trusted advisor about equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) as a means to improving innovation, leadership, technical excellence and employee engagement. He has extensive experience working with senior leaders. Gerard’s experience in and across many different sectors and settings has made him flexible, sensitive, broadly based and extremely useful to those with whom he works. He has partnered with diverse teams, bringing together former senior public servants, not-for-profit executives, private sector leaders and academics. He is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory™.
Justin Poy is the President and Creative Director of The Justin Poy Agency. Since 1993, Justin has developed and created marketing and advertising campaigns targeted towards various diverse markets in Canada and abroad, specifically in the South Asian, Chinese (Taiwanese, Mainland and Hong Kong) and Korean markets. Justin has won numerous creative awards including Best of Show at the Emerging Media Awards (Oregon, USA) in addition to several entrepreneurship awards.
Debra Freathy has been a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory for 12 years. She has conducted intercultural training using the IDI with executives, students, and instructors and has also conducted research using the IDI across business institutions in Europe. She brings her experience as a psychotherapist of 25 years to her work.
Paul Boston is the president of Actus Performance Inc., a human high-performance development firm. Paul started his professional career working in the fast-paced and demanding world of marketing and advertising with Fortune 500 companies and organizations around the globe. At the same time, he started racing at the elite level of triathlons and qualified four times for the World Triathlon Championships and started to discover performance similarities between his athletic and professional career. He then went back to school to study adult training and development, specializing in workplace performance. As an organizational high-performance development specialist, Paul works with clients to help them understand the fundamental performance values, attitudes and skills people, teams and organizations need in our ever-changing modern-day work world. Paul has published numerous articles and spoken to professional organizations across North America on 21st century workplace performance skills.
For more than 25 years Maureen Brown has specialized in training, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning to embed inclusive practice into an organization’s key operational areas. She has worked with a wide range of sectors including, private sector companies; banks, pharmaceutical; federal and local governments; professional associations; First Responder organizations; post-secondary institutions and not-for- profit organizations.
