Ilaneet is responsible for Business Development and Client Experience for DiversiPro. She is also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
Guided by the vision of a just and caring society, Ilaneet’s 20 years of experience has focused on advancing equity and human rights through community building, education, and organizational development. As Director of Workplace Learning and Development at Harmony Movement, a provincial diversity education organization, Ilaneet oversaw the expansion of training and consulting services for workplaces, building new partnerships in the private, public and non-profit sectors. As a Human Rights and Conflict Management Advisor at the University of Manitoba, Ilaneet’s portfolio included the provision of policy guidance and confidential advice to decision-makers, the delivery of training to students, staff and faculty, and conflict resolution services such as mediation and coaching.
An experienced adult educator and certified coach trained in Mindfulness, Ilaneet has worked with diverse teams and organizations helping to build knowledge and capacity for equity at all levels through thoughtful process.
She has contributed to publications and media on themes relating to identity, belonging, and sexual diversity, and was recognized by Urban Alliance on Race Relations for her contribution to racial justice work in Ontario. She has also been involved in LGBTQ2S+ rights advocacy, education, and youth mentoring, and has provided career coaching and workplace skills workshops to newcomers. Ilaneet has a Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, and certification in dispute resolution from York University.
